Ingredients

  • 1 whole chicken 
  • 1 tbsp salt (adjust to taste)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Chicken:
    • Rinse the whole chicken and pat dry.
    • Rub the entire chicken (inside and outside) evenly with salt. Let it rest for 15–30 minutes for better flavour.
  2. Steam the Chicken:
    • Place the chicken on a heatproof plate. 
    • Set up a steamer and bring the water to a boil.
    • Place the chicken inside and cover the lid. Steam for 30–40 minutes (depending on size).
  3. Serve!
